Holistic Nutritionist | Founder of Owlistic Nutrition | Wellness Advocate for Women in Midlife
Tatiana is a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and the founder of Owlistic Nutrition, based in Seattle. She helps women in midlife, particularly those navigating perimenopause and menopause, overcome stubborn weight gain, digestive issues, and autoimmune conditions through a practical, evidence-based approach that fits real life.
Her journey into holistic health began over a decade ago while she was studying diagnostic ultrasound. During an ultrasound scanning lab, her instructor scanned her thyroid, noticed it closely resembled that of a patient with an autoimmune disease, and suggested she get it checked out. That moment led to a diagnosis of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and hypothyroidism, finally explaining years of symptoms including postpartum weight gain, chronic fatigue, migraines, hair loss, and eczema. While conventional care focused on symptom management, Tatiana took a different path. By focusing on targeted nutrition and sustainable lifestyle changes, she restored her energy, balanced her hormones, and returned to a healthy weight without relying on restrictive diets or intense exercise. Today, she helps other women do the same.
Tatiana brings a unique and diverse educational background that blends chemistry, medical imaging, and holistic nutrition. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences with a major in Environmental Chemistry and a minor in Nutrition & Public Health. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, which strengthened her understanding of human anatomy and physiology. With more than ten years of experience working in hospitals, she has cared for patients facing serious illness and contributed to medical diagnoses as a sonographer. This experience gave her a clear understanding of the connection between nutrition and long-term health outcomes.
To expand her knowledge, Tatiana completed a comprehensive nutrition program through the Nutritional Therapy Association, where she studied functional, root-cause approaches to health and healing. She also completed advanced online training for medical professionals, led by medical doctors including psychiatrists and dietitians from the Bekhterev Psychoneurological Research Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia. This course deepened her understanding of the psychological and physiological aspects of eating and helped her better support clients with complex relationships to food.
Today, Tatiana combines her scientific training, clinical experience, and holistic philosophy to help women rebalance their hormones, improve digestion, stabilize mood and blood sugar, and lower their risk of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
Clients working with Tatiana at Owlistic Nutrition have successfully brought their weight into a healthy range, improved their overall health, and often reduced the need for medications and frequent doctor visits by addressing the root causes of their symptoms through nutrition and lifestyle changes. Weight loss is possible at any age. Many of Tatiana’s clients in their 40s through 70s+ have lost weight safely and sustainably, and often say their only regret is not starting sooner.

Why Nutritional Therapy?
With a background in public health and diagnostic medical imaging, Tatiana has always been passionate about the science of wellness. After more than a decade working in hospitals as an ultrasound technologist, she began to notice a clear pattern. Many health conditions were preventable and often rooted in poor nutrition and lifestyle habits.
Despite increasing awareness of stress, sleep, and exercise, nutrition remained largely overlooked, even in clinical settings. This realization led Tatiana to study holistic nutrition through the Nutritional Therapy Association, where she found an approach that blends science with practical, real-life application.
Today, she combines her clinical experience and holistic training to help women in perimenopause and menopause lose weight, manage symptoms, and feel confident in their bodies again. Her approach does not rely on restrictive diets or quick fixes. For Tatiana, nutritional therapy is more than a profession. It is a meaningful way to help women reclaim their health and vitality, one smart choice at a time.
